Tip of the day

Throughout our day it is a constant run...run to the grocery store, run to go pick up kids, run to work, run to go do this and that.... everyone is constantly going. Do we ever stop? Do we ever take just one moment to stop and appreciate/ see what is going on around us in our own lives? Do we ever stop to maybe say a prayer of thanks for what we have? Do we ever just stop letting the list in our minds run and run? It’s 8a.m. And my kids ate an hour ago lol. The list will always keep running on of, “well if I get this done then i’ll Eat breakfast”, and so on... take time for yourself. On my run this morning it was so freeing! Just listening to music quietly, but enjoying the sounds of birds chirping, the beautiful sun rising, the fog lifting from the ground, the paws hitting the pavement, one dog panting as if we were running a marathon and it was only 2 miles lol, and just enjoying nature. The world we live in is so beautiful, there are so many beautiful things that God has created for us to enjoy. But do we? Do we appreciate all that was created for us? No matter who you are... everyone has something that just makes it feel like you can’t go on, your done for the day, you just want to relax, so do it! Go on a walk, lock yourself in your closet for a few moments to yourself, find the little things that were amazing today!
The health drop tip for today: get out and exercise and take time for yourself! There is something to exercising and getting those endorphins released.. you are happier throughout the day, less on edge, a little more passionate lol, and so much more. If you are worn down and not loving who you are, then everyone around you suffers. Take time to do your hair or whatever it is that makes you feel amazing. When you are, “on top of the world” you can accomplish anything and everything that you desire. Don’t give up! Keep going, you are doing amazing! Don’t forget to take some time and appreciate what God has given you! Whether it be a green light to work, a non-crying kid for a day, or a phone call from a long lost friend, He knows you, He knows your needs and truly cares about you. You are never alone.
