Tip of the day

     Throughout our day it is a constant run...run to the grocery store, run to go pick up kids, run to work, run to go do this and that.... everyone is constantly going. Do we ever stop? Do we ever take just one moment to stop and appreciate/ see what is going on around us in our own lives? Do we ever stop to maybe say a prayer of thanks for what we have? Do we ever just stop letting the list in our minds run and run? It’s 8a.m. And my kids ate an hour ago lol. The list will always keep running on of, “well if I get this done then i’ll Eat breakfast”, and so on... take time for yourself. On my run this morning it was so freeing! Just listening to music quietly, but enjoying the sounds of birds chirping, the beautiful sun rising, the fog lifting from the ground, the paws hitting the pavement, one dog panting as if we were running a marathon and it was only 2 miles lol, and just enjoying nature. Healthy Life = Happy Life

I don't know about you all, but the mornings I get up and do an exercise or something I feel 10x better then attempting to get an extra 5 minutes of sleep. Whether it is going for a walk, doing some stretches, yoga, anything. Buy getting up and moving your wakening your mind and body and your making the first healthy decision of the day. My body feels better after doing some sort of exercise and my mind is clear and not as uptight as it would be if I didn't do a work out. I also like to put 2-3 drops of: breathe, peppermint, wild orange, grapefruit (choose 1) in the shower, on the floor. The steam allows the oil to transfer up and almost feels like a sauna, this really gets me awake and energized as well as emotionally ready for the day. I am a firm believer that if you are living healthy, (everyone has their own term of healthy so you use yours) then you will be a happy and healthier person. I absolutely love diffusing oils, they uplift the aroma in any room you are diffusing in as well as uplifting your own personal mood. Safety

Essential oils are such an amazing resource we have to use, they are nature's most powerful tool to enhance our well being and living. Essential oils are extremely potent, 1 drop can go a long ways. Essential oils are simply amazing and something I use every day, this being said, some safety facts are listed below to be able to enjoy these wonderful oils safely. * Keep all essential oils out of reach of children * If your skin is sensitive, dilute the oil with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and many more Also, place the oil on your feet, this is the safest area to apply essential oils.  * Keep away from the eyes * Avoid sun exposure or tanning booths for 24hrs. after applying a photosynthesizing, (citrus oil mainly), if the area you applied is covered with a shirt your okay * Keep away from open flames * Make sure,especially when using on kids you use dilution. Oils, How to use

Essential oils have a wider variety of uses. * You can use them aromatically through a diffuser or you can simply open the bottle and smell from the bottle. The aromas let off during use of the diffuser or smelling from the bottle can elicit powerful physiologic, mental, and emotional responses. To get an even bigger direct inhalation place one drop on your hands, rub together and cup your hands around the nose and mouth and breath in. Diffusing oils into a room is very beneficial for affecting someones mood, killing airborne pathogens, and changing the aroma of a space. My absolute favorite thing is using a diffuser to either uplift my mood or to help me get over a cold. Essential oils can also be added to water or alcohol in a spray bottle, (preferably glass). The mixture can then be sprayed in the air, on surfaces, or on the body, this makes a great air freshener and very cost effective. * Essential oils can also be applied topically.
